UF short-courses for translational research, biotech industry

The University of Florida, CERHB is offering bio-industry short-courses (non-credit) offered at the University of Florida’s Biotility. We provide students/post-docs/staff the opportunity to learn and apply critical elements associated with the discovery, development, production, and testing of (bio)medical products in the context of regulatory compliance. The courses have been especially useful to individuals interested in applying their academic work to translational research, or careers in the private sector.

Biotility is part of UF’s Center of Excellence for Regenerative Health Biotechnology, and our courses (several hours to several days in length) cover topics such as current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, Good Documentation Practices, Quality Control, Cleanrooms and Gowning, Clinical Research, Medical Devices, etc.

We are currently offering a "Two-for-One" special, but if this is still cost-prohibitive to anyone I encourage them to contact me directly (tmandell@cerhb.ufl.edu). We were established several years ago to provide support to the growing biotech industry in the state, and are happy to help!

If you would like a list of the course descriptions and fees contact Robin Snyder.
