The UF Graduate Student Advisory Council, the UF Graduate School and the UF Office of Research are pleased to announce the fourth annual Graduate Student Research Day, which will be held on October 27, 2015, in the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom.
This event — designed to showcase the breadth of research across the UF campus—revolves around a poster presentation competition and will feature a speech by UF President Dr. W. Kent Fuchs on his vision to establish UF as a national leader and a voice for higher education. Attendees will be able to refine their communication skills, learn from top scholars, and network with people from various disciplines and industries.
If you would like to participate, please register your abstract at http://i3.institutes.ufl.edu/2015-graduate-student-research-day/ by October 2 for a spot in the poster competition. Only the first 200 students to register will be able to compete.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the poster presentation in several categories, and winners will be invited to a state-wide competition. You may also earn raffle tickets at workshops and the poster competition for a chance to win an iPod, iPad, and other cool prizes!
