Univ of Arkansas Program Associate for Irrigation Water Management Program

Program Associates operate in an independent, decision-making role in the planning & execution of programs. Work objectives are coordinated with Project Leaders and/or other supervisors, but project implementation & management are primarily the responsibilities of the Program Associate.

Duties include some laboratory but mostly field activities in irrigation water management. Includes but not limited to repairing and installing irrigation equipment, planting crops, harvesting crops, spraying crops, retrieving information from data logging equipment, manual data collection, data summarization and analysis of field experiments.

A BS or MS in agricultural or biological engineering, crop, soil, or environmental science, comparable engineering discipline, agriculture or related field is required. Experience with irrigation or water management highly desirable.
