Postdoctoral position: Industrial Hemp Production

A postdoctoral position is available to conduct research on agronomic management of industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa) in the Florida panhandle. The research will include agronomic and horticultural management of industrial hemp for commercial production in the Florida panhandle. This is an applied,field- and greenhouse-based research program.

The research will be conducted at the UF/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center (NFREC) located in Quincy, Florida. Graduate student housing facilities, suitable for temporary housing, are conveniently available on the research station, though the incumbent is expected to find housing locally.

Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until a suitable candidate is appointed. This postdoc position is available as soon as September, 2018 but the start date is flexible. The position is renewable annually for at least two years with a salary of $47,476 plus benefits. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate is identified.
