In Agroecological Evaluation of Alternative Cropping Systems (AGR 6932) you will:
  • Confront challenges to agricultural systems
  • Develop the knowledge needed to holistically and rigorously evaluate cropping systems
  • Identify the benefits and challenges of emerging alternative agricultural systems using real systems as case studies
  • Develop a proposal for an alternative agroecosystem that advances some or all components of the triple bottom line in a production environment
  • Take field trips to better understand application of course material in real-world settings
  • Work collaboratively to evaluate and assess agroecosystems
