Become a #GatorsBEATWaste Ambassador this Fall! Sign up to help with recycling and waste reduction efforts at UF! Volunteers will be helping to answer questions and direct visitors at the recently launched #GatorsBEATWaste Station in the Reitz Union, UF's first consumer-facing compost station. Fill It Forward with Cupanion Scan your reusable water bottle during the month of August for the chance to win a One-of-a-kind Handmade Gator Mug by Mariana Baquero – Ceramic Artist and Arts Specialist with the Reitz Union Arts & Crafts Center.

Need a Fill It Forward sticker? Stop by the UF Office of Sustainability to pick one up and start earning points for using your reusable water bottle or coffee mug on campus!

Volunteer with TailGator Recycling on Sept. 7 Join the TailGator Recycling Team on campus before the Gators take the field on Saturday, September 7th. Throughout the day, volunteers teams work in high-traffic tailgating areas on campus where they distribute the blue recycling bags to fans, along with information on what is and is not recyclable. All shifts end one hour before kick-off and volunteers receive free food & refreshments!

Save the Date: Sustainable Transportation Fair will be October 9th! The 2019 Sustainable Transportation Fair will be on Wednesday, October 9 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on the NE corner of the Reitz Union Lawn behind Marston Science Library and the Hub. Learn more about the sustainable transportation options on campus and in the community through interactive booths, eco-friendly vehicle exhibits and demos & activities.
