Poster Presentation Workshop

Do you have an upcoming conference you need to create a poster for? Or are you presenting a research poster at Graduate Student Research Day? The Graduate Student Advisory Council is proud to announce a workshop geared just for you! In collaboration with the UF Libraries and the Graduate school, GSAC has enlisted Dr. Katie Stofer to give a hands-on interactive poster presentation workshop to help you create a great research poster. 
 
Poster workshop details:         
  • Learn how to create an effective research poster
  • Details on how to present your work to specific audiences
  • Specifics on how to prepare graphs and images for your poster
  • Individual information on text, layout and poster esthetics
  • Much More!

Time: 12pm-2pm
Location: Smathers Library East, Room 100
 
Space is limited to the first 120 registered students, so sign up today! Bring your lunch, laptop and/or poster to the library for this workshop. Library personnel will be on hand to serve as mock poster judges to further assist you with your poster presentation needs.
