The Graduate Student Advisory
Council in collaboration with the UF Graduate School and Office of Research,
are pleased to announce the third annual Graduate Student Research Day. This
year’s theme is ‘Standing Out, It’s A Race To The Top!’. Research Day
will be held on Tuesday October 28th, 2014 in the Grand
Ballroom of the Reitz Union.
Take advantage of this
opportunity to practice your presentation skills (and compete with your peers
for a top poster award)! Only the first 200 students registered can compete in
the poster competition. Register your abstract here: http://i3.institutes.ufl.edu/2014-graduate-student-research-day/
by September 29th for a spot in the poster competition!
In addition to the poster
session, we will also have a panel discussion with UF’s new preeminent scholars
on how they made it to the top of their fields, a networking workshop, and
resume/CV critiques at the Career Resource Center! Earn raffle tickets at
workshops and the poster competition for a chance to win an iPod, iPad and
other cool prizes!
Students participating in the ABE Graduate Research Poster Symposium on October 15th should also submit their Intent to Participate form by September 29th. See Shannon Noble if you need a form.
