The American Ecological Engineering Society is accepting proposals for presentations at their 17th Annual Meeting under the theme “Ecological Engineering for Adaptation in the Anthropocene,” hosted by the University of Georgia.. We welcome proposals of research and applications in the field of ecological engineering as they pertain to the built and natural environment as viewed from an integrative perspective of engineers, scientists, designers, planners, policy makers, and society. Students should check the conference website for details regarding student travel awards.

The program will include invited speakers, technical presentations, posters and exhibits, field trips, and networking opportunities. Student participation is critical, with emphasis on design experiences and mentoring for our future ecological engineers. To encourage student participation, we will soon be announcing details of student conference travel awards.

Proposals for platform presentations will be accepted through February 22, 2017. A technical program committee will review all proposals and announce acceptance by mid-March. Poster presentation proposals will be accepted through April 2017.
