UF Impact Award nominations open

The Center for Leadership and Service presents the 2015 University of Florida Impact Awards. The annual Impact Awards ceremony recognizes and celebrates the dedicated efforts of students, faculty, staff, businesses, and community nonprofit agencies who demonstrated a commitment to leadership and service in the past year. Award categories

Outstanding Graduate or Professional Student
Recognizes a graduate or professional student that has made outstanding contributions in leadership or service.
 
Exemplary Service Partnership
This award, presented to a partnership between a student group and a community agency, recognizes the outstanding collaborative efforts between a student service organization and a community agency to provide service or create positive social change.

Distinguished Mentor
Recognizes a student who has shown dedication and innovation as a mentor during the past year.

Extraordinary Student Volunteer
Recognizes a student that has been consistently dedicated to serving the University of Florida and the Gainesville community during the past year. This student recognizes the importance of service and incorporates it as a priority into their daily life.
 
Outstanding Service Organization Leader
Recognizes an individual executive board member of a service organization for their outstanding contribution to service in the community.

Leadership and Service Advocate
Recognizes faculty, staff, or individuals in a community agency, who have gone above and beyond in service or leadership.

Emerging Leader
Recognizes a first year student who has shown a strong desire to improve individual leadership skills and has stood out among talented peers.

Model of Leadership
Recognizes students who actively work to instill positive social change in the community and exemplify the values of true leadership.
