All students seeking the MDF for the 2016-2017 admission’s cycle must
use this online process in conjunction with the University of Florida’s
graduate application process. The application is now available for
completion at www.fefonline.org/mdfapply/.
Although additional information about the McKnight Doctoral Fellowship Program is available on our website, www.fefonline.org,
feel free to refer prospective students to the FEF for more
information. It is our mission to help students obtain funding to
pursue their Ph.D’s.
Please make note of the following critical deadlines:
1. January 15, 2016 – MDF Application Deadline-Please notify all potential applicants.
2. February 1, 2016 – All MDF applicant files will be available online for departmental viewing.
3.
March 1, 2016 - Notification of admission decisions are sent to FEF
by the Office of Graduate Minority Programs OGMP- UF’s MDF liaison.
Please note: This information is not to be submitted directly by the
department. This information must be submitted to OGMP by February 26th
to ensure timely submission of UF’s McKnight Doctoral Candidates.
To
better understand the MDF Program, we encourage students’ attendance at
the 2015 McKnight Doctoral Annual Fellows Meeting (AFM) on November 13 –
15, 2015 in Tampa, FL. The Annual Conference benefits both
aspiring and matriculating graduate students. Conference and
registration information is currently available on our website at http://www.fefonline.org/mdfafm.html.
