From UF Libraries: First Annual Data Symposium, 3/19/18

First Annual Data Symposium
Monday, March 19, 2018, 9:00 am-5:00 pm
Smathers Library, Room 100

There is a growing need for faculty, students, and staff to address data challenges affecting all disciplines in the form of organization, infrastructure, and resources. In continued efforts to build library and researcher partnerships, capacity and a culture of data management across campus, the University of Florida Libraries and UF Institute of Food and Agriculture Sciences (IFAS) Wildlife Ecology and Conservation are sponsoring the 1st Annual Data Symposium on Enabling Data Reproducibility and Sustainability at UF.

This event seeks to bring experts from across disciplines to discuss, share, and strategize collaborative best practices to improve the aggregation, dissemination, and preservation of data for current and future use. This is also a great opportunity to network and share your knowledge with colleagues across campus.

An evening reception will be hosted by Innovation Square and includes a tour of Innovation Hub.
