This award is competitively awarded to
provide final-stage funding over four-to-sixth months for UF PhD candidates,
allowing them time and resources to focus exclusively on their dissertation
through defense, final clearance by the Editorial Office, and graduation. It is
for candidates who have exhausted all other means of support. For

GRADUATE SCHOOL DOCTORAL RESEARCH TRAVEL AWARD
This award provides research-related
travel expenses for UF PhD students in selected majors in the humanities, arts,
and social sciences, so they can effectively conduct doctoral dissertation
research away from UF if department departmental funding is inadequate.

SUPPLEMENTAL RETENTION SCHOLARSHIP
This award is for all UF doctoral
students who are three or fewer semesters away from graduation, but no longer
qualify for a fellowship, an assistantship, or other funding from departments
and colleges. It provides us to three credit hours of tuition assistance. For

DELORES AUZENNE DISSERTATION AWARD
This award helps underrepresented
minority students to complete their dissertations, providing competitively
awarded stipends to UF PhD candidates in the advanced states of writing their
dissertations. Students appointed on state-funded fellowships or assistantships
are not eligible. The award provides up to $12,000 and up to three credit hours
