The Integrated Product and Process Design Program (IPPD) is looking for a new Laboratory Manager. IPPD is the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering’s multidisciplinary capstone design course wherein groups of 4-7 undergraduate students work directly with companies to develop prototypes for industrial, medical, aerospace, software, and many other industries. The annual program runs for two semesters and each team is given a $2,000 fabrication budget to develop one or more prototypes. The Lab Manager is a full-time, salaried position that supports student teams by providing design feedback, recommending materials and components, assisting with fabrication, purchasing components, and managing the light fabrication facilities operated by IPPD.
