The Ford Foundation has generously offered to sponsor 10 travel stipends, of $2,000 each, to support graduate student participation in the 2019 Modeling the World’s Systems conference.
Interested graduate students should submit a one-page summary discussing:
- Why they are interested in attending the 2019 Modeling the World’s Systems conference.
- How attending the conference will contribute to their academic/professional development (e.g., what are you working on in your research?).
- Why it is important to model the world’s systems.
Interested graduate students should submit their summary to
jrlawson@pitt.edu. The submission deadline is March 1, 2019. Students whose summaries are accepted will be notified of the award by March 15, 2019.
