Needed: Graduate Student Volunteers for 3MT Competition!

The University of Florida Graduate School in collaboration with I-Cubed and GSAC will be hosting its first Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition (http://ogmp.graduateschool.ufl.edu/3MT.aspx) on April 3, 2014… And we are in need of volunteers!

Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia. It challenges graduate students to make a compelling presentation on their thesis topic and its significance in just three minutes. The format of the competition is set and there will be 7 preliminary heats before the final competition. Volunteers would have varied responsibilities (e.g. timekeeper, usher). The times and dates that volunteers are needed are as follows:

· Wednesday, March 12 2-4 pm Location: LG101A Brain Institute

· Monday, March 17 9-11am Location: LG101A Brain Institute

· Monday, March 17 12:30-2:30pm Location: LG101A Brain Institute

· Wednesday, March 19 9:30-11:30am Location: LG101A Brain Institute

· Wednesday, March 19 1:30-3:30pm Location: LG101A Brain Institute

· Thursday, March 20 9-11am Location: LG101A Brain Institute

· Friday, March 21 2-4pm Location: LG101A Brain Institute

· Thursday, April 3 1:45-4pm Location: Reitz Union
