LaTeX is a free typesetting system used for producing high quality journal articles, presentations, and even textbooks.
It is also used for dissertations in many disciplines here at UF.
The Graduate Mathematics Association and the NSF-funded UF I-Cubed Program are holding a two-part LaTeX seminar this semester.
The sessions will cover everything from installation and creating a basic document to advanced topics such as creating bibliographies, presentations, and illustrations.
The first session is on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 5:10 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Little Hall 109. The second session is on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 5:10 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in L007 Turlington Hall.
Pizza and beverages will be provided.
